Production of transparent PC and PVC signs

Although the screen printing branch and technology of 2004.1 have not been widely used in the glass decoration industry, some of the following applications have been under study.

Some companies intend to use digital printing proofs in different applications and even in short runs, which is quite feasible in piezoelectric inkjet printing technology and in eye-catching UV piezoelectric printing. These companies are willing to get the "inkjet printing of glass inks" opportunity. The current problem is that the high abrasion strength of the pigment in the glass ink causes the piezoelectric head to be damaged quickly, and the cost is a major problem currently considered.

The main problem at present is the light and chemical resistance of the glass, especially in the car glass. Research on automotive and architectural glass, as well as the lamination of printed plastic films between two layers of glass, with or without heating, is underway.

Molding Because polycarbonate (PC), plexiglass (PVC) injection molding characteristics are more complex than ABS engineering plastics, the shrinkage ratio of the product and the effect of front transparency on the shape of the product should be considered in the mold processing. In particular, the smoothness and flatness of the mold processing have a great influence on the injection molding of the product. The choice of mold intersection is also very important. If the intersection is not properly selected, it will cause shrinkage and chipping defects of the product, which will affect the appearance of the product. When possible, the gate is best chosen to be non-intuitive. Therefore, the mold usually uses a latent gate. (2) Select reliable product positioning and make tooling; (3) Mix and print ink, and dry in oven for 10 minutes. The oven temperature should be controlled at 100 to be self-drying. In order to ensure the color printing of the product is thick, it is generally printed twice.

Since the shape and pattern of the product are concave, any particles and defects appear in the depressed portion, and the defects are enlarged when the front side is seen. Therefore, in the injection molding, the cavity and the like of the mold should be closely observed. In case of problems, deal with them in a timely manner.

After the product is injection molded, the gate should be carefully trimmed to avoid defects. In order to prevent the warpage of the product, the best solution should be formulated for the ejection of the product after injection molding and the cooling of the product. After the product is trimmed, it is necessary to adopt a suitable packaging method to avoid friction between the products.

Background color: After injection molding of Sn PC and PVC signs, the products are generally colorless and transparent. The color of the product should be processed according to the requirements of the product pattern. Most of the current color substrates are plastic inks, which are processed by screen printing. The steps are as follows: (1) processing the screen printing metal color according to the pattern of the product, and processing the transparent PC, PVC label pattern metal color can be hot stamping film reverse hot forming, vacuum aluminum forming. The hot stamping film can be formed on the flat surface only, and the vacuum aluminum plating can be carried out in a flat surface and a concave surface. The steps of vacuum aluminizing are: (1) spraying the primer material; (2) completing the aluminum plating in the vacuum coating equipment; (3) inspecting the product; and (4) covering the protective layer (usually using a plastic dark paint).

The metal color is processed by the hot stamping method, and the background color should be performed after the hot stamping of the metallic color. To process the metallic color in the cavity by vacuum aluminum forming, the color of the pattern to be displayed should be processed first.

Transparent PC and PVC signs processed by engraving are generally engraved and then processed in color. When printing directly on the board, pay attention to the order of color printing to avoid ochre in multi-color printing.

After finishing the product finishing and adhesive metal color processing and protection, the product should be cleaned, the non-plated protective paper should be removed and the transparent surface cleaned. After the treatment is completed, the product should be inspected for overall quality. The qualified products should be attached with double-sided tape as required, and then the product should be packaged.

Some of the PC and PVC signage products can be mounted on plastic backplanes or other plastic parts. If the product is to be designed to be inlaid, the installation dimensions of the product must be accurate.
